We started coming to Harvest in May 2008. We found Harvest through a
great friend, Amy Fotherby. After going to a few different churches we
decided to start going to Harvest.
We have two boys, Brayden (4.5 years old) and Sawyer (2.5 years old).
Brayden is in the Rambler Room and loves his friends and the leaders in
that room. He is also on his second year at Awana and looks forward to
going on Wednesday nights.
Initially, when we started coming to Harvest,
we did not take Sawyer with us. Since about two months old Sawyer has
struggled with numerous severe health conditions. He was having anywhere
from 100-300 seizures in a day and was very agitated. He would often
hold his breathe when he cried until he turned blue. He had stopped
nursing and had to be fed by a feeding tube, and the list goes on. So
for obvious reasons we were not comfortable leaving him in the nursery.
We had a nurse that would come to our home and watch him, while we were
at church.
