Party With The Pastors - Awana Style
What a blast we had last Wednesday night with pastors Todd, Roger, Mike and our elder chair – Terry Codling!
They donned their Awana uniforms and Crazy Hair and hung out with us all night. They had a great time with balloons and parachutes during Puggles and Cubbies games time. After making them recite verses in Hebrews, they became official Awana leaders in order to help the Sparks teams learn their verses.
We REALLY enjoyed our question and answer period in T&T large group time. We learned that Pastor Mike’s favourite song is the B-I-B-LE and loved it when he sang it with us. We also found out that this was Terry’s very first time at Awana and that his favourite Bible character is Malachi. Pastor Todd helped demonstrate what true faith was when he made Pastor Roger fall from great heights into the arms of our male Awana leaders – so cool!
Awana is so thankful for our pastors and elders and can’t wait to party with them again next year!
