It was an incredible time together on Sunday as our elders
stood in front of the church in the midst of the sermon and took responsibility
on behalf of the church for our sins of the past. I heard several people commented that
they had never experienced anything like it before.
I’m going to keep today’s blog short because the content of
the message from
Nehemiah 9 and the ‘16 Confessions’ really says it all.
You can check out both right here. If you were not here for Sunday, be
sure to listen to the sermon and pass it along to anyone else who you think
might benefit from hearing it.
It was so good to have Jordan and Roxie here too. Jordan led
us in some powerful, Christ-exalting worship. They are here hunting down a
place to live in anticipation of their move here at the end of June when Jordan
assumes the role of worship director.
Pray for them both as they marry June 9. Jordan begins
leading worship regularly the first Sunday in July.
Hope you’re enjoying your Victoria Day Monday. I sure am.
Press on,
Eutychus
