Family Ministries PastorMike came to trust Jesus Christ as Saviour when he was eight years old but really didn’t start following hard after the Lord till age 22. He was baptized in 2003 at City Centre Baptist Church in Mississauga. Mike and his wife Angie met at and graduated from Tyndale University College. They have been married since 2006 and moved to Barrie after spending a few years working at a camp in upstate New York. Mike and Ang became the proud parents of Wyatt in January, 2009 and welcomed their daughter, Karis, in January, 2011.
Mike enjoys everything about golf, canoe trips with dudes, drinking black coffee, beards, cheering for the Leafs and watching the Ottawa Senators fail as an organization.
Matthew 22:37-39 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Mike explains: “This is the bottom line of what the Lord desires of us. If we are going to be true worshippers we need to love God with everything we’ve got and love everyone around us as Christ loves us.
