ElderJohn and his wife Marilyn have been members of Harvest Barrie since 2005. He was saved in April 1978 on the second Sunday he was invited to church and he has known the hand of God firmly on his life ever since.
Verses that have spoken to him greatly of late are Jeremiah 17: 7 and 8 - "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."
John has four grown children (Karlie, David, Hilary, and Erin) and two delightful grandkids (Eyadien and Giavanna). He is a chiropractor here in Barrie and has been in practice in various locations since 1977.
