DeaconBrad turned his life over to Christ at the age of 13 in 1978. Since then, although there have been some valleys, he has tried to live for Christ. He and his family began attending Harvest in 2004. Here, Brad has been challenged to be more committed to Christ and to serve Him more fully.
He met his wife Mary Anne in 1985 and they were married in 1989. They have 3 children: Logan (’92), Sawyer (’95) and Mariah (’97). Brad and Mary Anne live in Barrie and both work as teachers for the Simcoe County District School Board.
Brad’s heart is in service to Christ. He often returns to the book of James for encouragement and direction. One of his favourite Bible verses is Philippians 2:3-4; “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others.” One of his prayers is that we all truly act as servants, just as Christ did.
