In some ways it might be easy to think, "Ok, how do we top last Sunday?!"  For sure we had a great weekend last week with James MacDonald and Meredith Andrews here, and now we look forward. Well this Sunday didn't disappoint. The message Pastor Todd delivered from Hebrews 12:12-17 again served as the 'convicting encouragement' that we all needed. We also took communion together which is essentially reminding ourselves of the gospel and our amazing Saviour Jesus Christ.

Jordan and the team led us in a special by All Sons and Daughters called Wake Up. You can download it here and it would be my recommendation that you pick up the whole album while you're at it.

Many of you are aware that the Griffin small group had put together a silent auction and dessert night on Saturday to raise money for Doug and Jen McLellan to install a wheel chair lift in their van for their son Sawyer. Well the auction raised about $15,000 which was amazing but left the family about $10,000 short. The original plan for the HOPE offering this Sunday was to give all the proceeds to Judi O'Donnell who had her home damaged by fire recently. Well the insurance company came through for Judi (The Lord came through for Judi) last minute which allowed the stage to be set for another miracle. Todd stood up and with absolutely zero notice, asked you to dig deep and provide the rest of the money for the McLellan's. Well, you pulled through in the clutch and raised just over $10,000!! How amazing is our Lord?!  Just so cool to see God work like that through people like us. This is a big day for our church.

To him be all the glory!

Do you need a miracle? The McLellans sure did!
A miracle flows from WHAT WE HAVE.
Miracles flow through ACTIVE FAITH.
Miracles flow to the GLORY OF GOD.
Miracles flow for a DEEPER FAITH.

So good of God to let us live this out as a church and deepen our faith to give Him glory! What a pleasure to see 'fingers' and 'toes' working together in unity as the body of Christ! The greatness of our God is worthy to be praised!

I love how the LORD gave us a living illustration of that sermon. Powerful to watch and be part of.

To him be glory!
Seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
