Worship Director

Reports to: Executive Pastor
Hours: Full-time position

The worship director role is charged with cultivating a creative and compelling environment within our church where people passionately lift high the name of Jesus Christ. As a ministry that flows directly from one of our four pillars, worship is among four emphases that carry the highest level of priority for our church in the development of quality disciples. With the goal of bringing glory to God, the worship director is responsible not only to lead in and model worship, but also to equip God’s people to be worshippers of Jesus Christ both corporately and personally. He will wholeheartedly support the mission, vision, doctrine, pillars, and ministry strategy of Harvest Bible Chapel Barrie as established by the elders.

Production Assistant

Reports to: Worship Director
Hours: Part-time position (6-8 hours/week)

The production assistant is charged with creating an environment on weekends where people are able to gather in an engaging and distraction-free environment, including both adult worship services and Harvest Kids. He or she is responsible for the execution of this task goal in accordance with the mission, vision, doctrine, pillars, and ministry strategy of Harvest Bible Chapel Barrie as established by the elders.

Office Manager/Administrative Assistant

Reports to: Executive Assistant
Hours: 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday)
Duration: One year maternity leave coverage beginning April 29, 2019

Support staff members enable the rest of the staff team to function primarily within the scope of their spiritual giftedness and personality. Thus, administrative, detail-oriented people support vision-casting, big-picture people to enable our overall goals as a church to be reached. The office manager/administrative assistant will be strongly committed to laying the groundwork for successful ministry by anticipating and meeting the practical needs of the staff. He/she will wholeheartedly support the mission, vision, doctrine, pillars, and ministry strategy of Harvest Bible Chapel Barrie as established by the elders and executed by the staff team. If not already a church member, he/she will become one within three months of starting employment.
