Harvest Bible Chapel 7 George Street, Barrie

This ten-week study helps women explore how God is always working for his glory and the good of his people. There are no minor characters in the story of God. Beginning with Genesis 12, you'll walk alongside the fathers of our faith—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—to discern Jesus in the stories of his people. This study will help you see how the God of creation and covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Men’s Study Group

Harvest Bible Chapel 7 George Street, Barrie

There's no lack of leadership theories in circulation today. While they are not without value, as Christians we want to ground all that we do in the Word of God. Fortunately for us, scripture has much to say about leadership. Pastor and author Larry Osborne turns to 1 Peter 5:1-4 to help leaders in the workplace understand what it looks like to shepherd those God has placed in their care. With down-to-earth and relatable teaching, Larry unpacks timeless life lessons from a through biblical understanding that will help you better grasp the example God desires you set as a leader. The Lead Like a Shepherd men's study group will meet on Wednesday evenings at Harvest from 6:30-8:30 p.m. starting on January 22, 2020.

Take time with other men to develop your personal spiritual life. Meet together to discuss and apply what you'll learn through the scriptures. For our winter session, we'll use material from Vince Miller and BeResolute. Participants will need to register and purchase a discussion guide for use at each session. This resource will help you prepare for and follow up on each meeting. "In a world where everyone is attempting to define manhood, why not look to God who designed men. God's definition of real manhood is found in the ultimate man - Jesus Christ." The men's study group will meet on Wednesday evenings at Harvest from 6:30-8:30 p.m. starting on January 22, 2020. There is no meeting on March 18, 2020.
