Iddo Dickens

Director of Worship and Production

Iddo was born in the small town of Brits, South Africa. For most of his life he grew up with a single mom who made sure to invest Christian principles within him. After losing his father, Iddo was very fortunate to have many godly men actively walk with him throughout his life.

Iddo gave his life to the Lord at age six and took the task of living a Christian life very seriously even at such a young age. He was baptised at a Christian camp when he was 12. At 13, Iddo discovered his love for music (his father was also a musician.) Iddo learned to play the drums, piano, guitar, and sing. He was very involved throughout his high school career at several churches.

At the end of 2011 Iddo joined a large televised church (Alberton Lewensentrum) in Johannesburg where he served as one of the worship directors for five years.

Iddo and Jeanny got married in 2017, and were blessed with a wonderful baby boy and future rugby player of the year (2040) called Ruach (which means “Breath of God”) in 2020.

Iddo loves people and cares a lot for their well-being. He loves to hear the stories of those around him. Iddo is intrigued by the Word of God and is continuing his theological studies for a Bachelor’s Degree online at South African Theological Seminary (affiliated with Acts 29).

Iddo’s main goal is to become more like Christ and to be the hands and feet of Christ for those around him.
