JORDAN COROS
Director of YouthJordan and his family started attending Harvest Bible Chapel Barrie in 2003. It was through the ministry here and through faithful men and women that Jordan saw both of his parents saved and noticed tangibly the life change that resulted. Unable to deny what he had seen and understanding the truth of the gospel that he was being taught, Jordan gave his life to the Lord in January 2004 and was baptized on June 25, 2006. Jordan met his wife, Emilie, at Harvest and they were married in 2016.
He has served actively at Harvest Barrie throughout his life and has felt the call of the Lord to full-time ministry and is currently completing his Bachelor of Theology through Heritage College & Seminary.
One of Jordan’s favourite verses is Colossians 2:6-7, “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” This verse is a daily reminder to Jordan of the commitment to Christ-like conduct that he needs to make. It’s also a challenge to continue to dive deeper into his love for Jesus and passion for following him and to rely on God for all that he needs.
