Yolanda De La Riva
Yolanda spent most of her childhood in Mexico City where her parents were missionaries. She came to know Christ and was baptized at a young age and although she has had many ups and downs in her walk with Christ, God has always been faithful.
Yolanda has had the opportunity to work with different ministry organizations throughout the years and has a deep desire to be a part of what God is doing in Barrie and around the world.
She and her husband, Israel, have two daughters and they have been attending Harvest since 2017.
One of Yolanda’s favourite passages, which she turns to often for encouragement and hope, is Hebrews 12:1-2 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God”.
