Sermon Series: The Holy Spirit

No one likes to be misunderstood. But that’s exactly the plight of the Holy Spirit…almost completely misunderstood by most Christ-followers. Certainly the most misunderstood of the three persons of the Trinity. The original Christ-followers were promised that they (and we) would not be left alone in this world, but that God would literally indwell us…take up residence in our lives…and that we would become his temple. You can imagine that if the Holy Spirit lives inside of you—and if you’re a true believer in Christ, he does—then that has all kinds of implications for how you live your life. Whatever you do in your day (good and bad) is seen and experienced by the Holy Spirit in you. Think about that and then understand why this study on the Holy Spirit is so critical.
