Burden #1: Unconquered Sin

We have started a new four-week series called, #Rest, that will hit right where most of us live. The sub-title gets right to the heart of it: four soul-crushing burdens and how to rid my life of them. Jesus said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” We hear that, yet most of us find that to be all but impossible. We are tired, stretched, and overwhelmed. Even as believers, who have a clear path to rest, it seems so elusive. We will be getting at the causes of that unsettledness and fatigue in order to see it change in our lives. This short series is from selected messages in the Letter to the Hebrews.
